Hi there! I’m Amy Schmidthuber, the founder of The System Squad and your go-to expert for transforming spaces into beautiful, functional havens. Based in the Denver-metro area, I’m passionate about creating environments that help you feel your best—spaces that are as welcoming as they are organized. When I’m not perfecting a system, you’ll find me spoiling my rescue Doodles and enjoying the little things in life.
Originally from Minnesota, I grew up with a deep appreciation for the inviting atmosphere of the Midwest. I went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and later, a Master's of Physical Therapy at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. I spent 14 years running my own pediatric therapy business, Kids in Motion, before taking time off to raise my kids. During that time, I pursued passion for organization. Taking my foundations to the next level, I developed a deep understanding of creating spaces that are both functional and warm. Places where people feel comfortable, connected, and at ease.

As the principal interior designer and founder of Hi 5 Design Lab with an impressive visual merchandising and sales background, Becky Warton is the perfect person to take over design duties for The System Squad's full-service residential and commercial projects. Collaborating with The Squad since 2021, Becky merges the best of small and large interior design, tackling magazine-bound large-scale estates, vacation spots, and corporate offices across the U.S.
